Community empowerment through education and responsible stewardship is our focus. We are a non profit community action group which is dedicated to protect and preserve our quality of life.

Group challenges permit for Morton Asphalt Plant

Protect Onslow County Neighborhoods wants to stop construction of a proposed asphalt plant near Jacksonville.

The non-profit announced Tuesday it filed a legal challenge earlier this month to the Onslow County Board of Adjustment’s special use permit for the proposed plant.
